i grew up in reseda. a neighborhood that is often neglected and lost in the urban sprawl of the san fernando valley located in the city of los angeles. i started this series as a response to the anonymity and disrespect of this corner of los angeles.
initially started to bring attention to the neighborhood, it has evolved into a journey of self-discovery and a celebration of this neighborhood. i love finding subtle details that define the character of reseda. the quiet residential streets that house the narratives of its residents, the diverse architecture of old and new, and the quiet beauty of moments that are often seen as uninteresting. i see them as sculptures, often temporary, that are rarely noticed.
